“In the second half of the 20th century, girls in Communist Poland would take little trinkets and scraps like candy wrappers, leaves, bits of confetti, and colorful beads and pills and arrange them, like collages or shrines, on pieces of foil, seal their creations under a piece of glass, and bury them underground, where they would be their secret to keep (or to share with a few trusted friends).”
I just well am super in love with this idea!

My new Book Bag/Purse, inspired by this rookie mag article.
I made it out of material from 2 pants-to-shorts alterations, a snap, this old encyclopedia and a whole lot of rubber cement. I then followed this tutorial’s tips and added some cardboard to the spine from the inside to make it more stable.

I love how sweet and unnasuming she is and man this makes me miss old school No Doubt material. Plus I love how she sounds and looks like she’s 14 but maybe I shouldn’t make fun of that coz I look about 12 =_=.
